[Cctools-cchost] basic search not working, advanced search working fine

Has anyone else encountered issues with the search box in CChost?

The search box for my teacherhost implementation is just returning
home.xml...

The advanced search is working but the generic search box is not.

http://www.esolpc.com/teacherhost/?search_text=3DVictor&search_type=3Dany&s=
earch_in=3D3

should find Victor as as member but doesn't while....

http://www.esolpc.com/teacherhost/?ccm=3D/media/search/results

searching Victor under under users here in the advanced search returns the
desired results.

Can I easily remove the Search options from the main page and keep the
advanced search until this can be worked out?

Where is the search algorithm located? How is it different from the advance=
d
search algorithm?
