I've been some bug fixing and other clean up and after I add a feature (OpenID login) I think we're ready for a 5.1 However, last night I checked in a dev feature that I think might help several skin developers currently struggling with the default path look up for style sheets and images embedded in the default templates. The option is explained here: http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Cchost/concepts/Templates#Overriding_system_default_files VS |

Does it work like it is shown in my image? http://summerstyle.net/openclipart.org/content/michi/michi_-_ccHost.png So when i use this option there is no more skin stuff that mess up my custom template ... Do I have direct access to the user data via ccHost? So ccHost is a Core-engine for me. Gives me all the data i need in arrays like #R ... So i can use them in custom Templates and do not need all the ccHost shared CSS, JS, Layout, Color, ... stuff? let me spell it out: ccskins/shared/format/collab-thread.tpl has a code partial: <link rel="stylesheet" href="%url(css/topics.css)%" without the check box the ONLY way you could replace topics.css was to copy collab-thread.tpl to your directory (which is a pain) with the checkbox you can put your topics.css into your skins directory and you do NOT have to copy any files to any directory.
