#5 Tiddler truncated after addition of tag comments

When adding the comments tag to tiddlers they are truncated to probably the display width.
I am using ccT 1.1, MySQL server version 4.1.18-nt, MySQL client version 5.0.22 on Windows 2000 Service pack 4 with php version 5.2.0, Zend version 3.2.0, Apache 2.2.3(win32).
Only plugins:
# CommentPlugin v0.5.0
# HideCommentsFromLists v0.2.0
and
# recentPlugin v0.1.0
are installed.
