Summary: not parsing optimization steps

Initial Comment:
When the Symm(Follow) keyword is used to make geometry updates occur in the current symmetry, the resulting steps are not parsed. 

In the attached file, there are 4 steps; however, atomcoords is only length 1.

Fixed with r846, with the file attached here added as a regression test
(with an explicit test function).
