The LPA method I added here does not work with Numeric. I'm not even aware if 
Numeric has a working eigenvalue decomposition (the one in my installation, 
LinearAlgebra.eig, feezes the interpreter or is very slow). So this is the 
only thing currently that doesn't work with Numeric.
