[cclib-devel] A beta release

Dear Adam,

In order to get the ball rolling on a release, while allowing us to find
any big bugs, I suggest putting out a beta release of 0.5, particularly
in the light of the problems we found parsing the AOMIX examples. This
will not be announced on the CCL mailing list, but will be released
through other low publicity channels: e.g. freshmeat, python cheeseshop
and I'm thinking of mentioning it to the 15 or so people on the GaussSum
mailing list.

What do you think? This will allow us to move forward, and hopefully
give us some feedback before the final release.
