Simplify the cbridge interface and add code for ensuring the GIL
* Realized that there is a Python function for importing module
by string name (instead of Python object) called
PyObject_ImportModule, so previous functions
were redundant.
* ccopen seems to work fine, although unclear how it behaves
if cclib isn't found.
