#8 Email activity summary

One of the excellent features of Interact is its user
centred homepage -- i.e. relevent activity since last
login/past week/month etc. is prestented to the user up
front upon login.

A feature which would allow a user to 'enable' or 'sign-
up' for a periodic email summary of recent activity in
areas relevant to them would be really valueable in
helping to keep people connected. It would be like
sending an email copy of what would have appeared to
the user if they had logged in. The frequency of the
email update message could be set by the user in their
preferences.

People look at their email more often than log into web
sites. I have seen this feature in a corporate intranetg
system and found that it was quite useful.
