#8 How to shape internań ip network ... i tried with , and does

HI there,

Our gateway has 3 eth's.
1- ROuter
2- DMZ
3- Lan

All lan workstatiosn have default gateway IP adress 3-
eth. Its eth3 (default GW eth0)

So i set up a script called cbq-64.test-client and inside i
wrote:

DEVICE=eth3,100Mbit,10Mbit
RATE=64Kbit
WEIGHT=6Kbit
PRIO=5
RULE=192.168.3.55,

Then /sbin/cbq start and its doesnt show any error but
its no shapping IP 192.168.3.5

whats wrong?

Your rules only shapes traffic to this address and not from
this address. you need both if you want to narrow the traffic
to 1 location

add
RULE=192.168.3.55

with out the comma, so you get this
RULE=192.168.3.55, # to this address
RULE=192.168.3.55 # from this address
