#8 ADD TIME TO SCRIPT

We at our ISP use CBQ to provide bandwidth control to the users.

We would like to add a simple routine to let the bandwidth of any user go without limit for up to 5 seconds before the CBQ applies the traffic shape, every time there is a request.

In other words, if the user opens a browser and navigates, CBQ will provide full (no limit) bandwidth for 5 seconds and then limit to the script.

The same user starts a ftp download, for the first 5 seconds full speed (no restriction) but after that period of time the CBQ applies the rule and limits what ever bandwidth he has in the script.

The idea behind it to provide better user experience in surfing the internet, since browsing is for short periods of time.

Do you think this is possible to do?...if yes...how?...
