Hi! Welcome to the first email of cbms-announce! As you probably guessed, this = signals the first release of CBMS. (For those of you who have forgotten wha= t CBMS is all about and why you subscribed to the announce list, take a qui= ck look at http://cbms.sf.net) I apologise for the lack of releases thus far, but as some of you know my w= ork has kept me pretty much busy 24/7 for the last few months meaning I've = had little time to work on this project. That said, every cloud has a silve= r lining, and this is mine. :-) Before I go any further, I will make one thing clear. This is NOT a working= release. While it may work if you hit it hard enough, it is not designed t= o be a functioning release. It is more a code-release-and-inspection exerci= se to allow those who want to, to give me feedback on the code, structures,= layout and other design aspects. If this doesn't interest you, then you sh= ould probably ignore this release announcement!=20 For those of you who are interested in supplying me with feedback, code sni= ppets and suggestions, please please do so. Feel free to email smallbone@us= ers.sourceforge.net with your ideas or questions. I will be setting up a de= v mailing list shortly, so keep your eye out on the CBMS SourceForge projec= t site for notification that the list is set up. (I *won't* announce its cr= eation via this mailing list, as I promised this would be release announcem= ents and critical bug fixes/patches only). Oh yes, I'll say it again, just for good measure. THIS IS NOT A FUNCTIONING= RELEASE, although some of it does work if you hit it hard enough. Please b= e sure to read README and INSTALL before trying to do anything. :-) Where to get it: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/cbms/cbms-0.0.1.tgz?download Release Notes: I forgot to include the database schema in the tarball, so where any docume= ntation mentions cbms.sql, please download it from http://www.stop-spam.inf= o/cbms/cbms-0.0.1.sql and accept my humble apologies.=20 Thanks again and I hope you enjoy reading through the code and comments, an= d I look forward to hearing from you all (good or bad comments!).
