Hi, I am both new to linux and cbm4linux and now I have a problem.

My system:
-Fedora Core 4
-XM1541 Cable (tested with Star Commander with a MSDOS bootdisk, works fine)

I can :
get status from 1541 drive
get directory listing from 1541 drive

I can't:
-format with cbmformat
-copy disk with d64copy

This is how my /var/log/messages look like:

Jul 14 10:00:50 localhost kernel: cbm_write: no devices found
Jul 14 10:00:50 localhost kernel: cbm_write: I/O error
Jul 14 10:00:50 localhost kernel: cbm_write: no devices found
Jul 14 10:00:50 localhost kernel: cbm_write: I/O error
Jul 14 10:00:50 localhost kernel: cbm_write: no devices found
Jul 14 10:00:50 localhost kernel: cbm_write: I/O error

It seems I have a problem every time I need to write to the disk but
not when I read information from the disk. So I figure I need to set a
permission somewhere, can anybody help me out?

|
