Always has.

Before installing the parallel cable I used XM1541.

anything that accesses the disk really, eg

[simon@desk001 big_bag_o_disks]$ cbmdir
99, driver error,00,00
cbmctrl: dir: Input/output error
[simon@desk001 big_bag_o_disks]$ cbmdir
0 ."disk c side6 1.1"  s 2a
8    "spelle01"         prg
8    "spelle00"         prg
7    "secset64"         prg
...

it happens a lot with cbmdir, less so with d64copy.....

umm, realised Id lifted pin 1 from ground instead of pin2 :) misread the
instructions <cue embarrassed look>.
