Hi all, I hope this is the right place to ask: I'm trying to install openCBM (or cbm4linux doesn't matter to me if it works). I've got an XM1541-cable, my computer is a TravelMate 291LCI running Debian Buster (could update to Bullseye, if that helps, though). I downloaded three deb-files from Suse and installed them: libopencbm[...].deb opencbm[...].deb opencbm-xa1541[...].deb That worked fine. When I now type cbmctrl reset I get /usr/lib/opencbm/plugin/libopencbm-xa1541.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory An error occured opening OpenCBM, aborting... As I couldn't find anything about this shared object file in the internet, I tried various other approaches. E.g. doing dpkg-reconfigure opencbm-xa1541 told me to install the source files and compile them, but that didn't work well. I tried several ways to compile the source, but every time I ended with a bunch of errors I could not make up anything from. (If it helps, I can send you the tries, but I wanted to keep this mail small.) Now I've got no real idea, how to proceed. Can you help me? Berni |
