Hi, I saw your posting on sourceforge looking for a document writer. I'm wrapping up a technical communications certification, and am looking to broaden my portfolio a bit. I have a background in Journalism so I do know how to communicate, and my recent education in pursuit of my certification has taught me how to write for a technical product and/or audience. Get in touch if you'd be interested in working with me. Amy Kennebec |

Hey, Hey I recently discovered a new tool which is really rather cool and = possibly useful it consists of 2 files both under 100k one is a server = and one is a client and it basically is a realtime notepad and you can = open VB Files and code real time like it has chat too so I can be in a = session with say wimz and darko and darko can be coding a new module = and he can say in chat okay hows it look... we press F5 and it update = son our screen so then wimz goes uh oh that's sloppy lemme fix so then = he goes how's it look we press F5 and poof it updates again.... and so = on.... COuld be useful.... It's open source on Planet Source Code .... = (Open source for VB) -Louis YOU CAN GET IT AT: = http://www.Planet-Source-Code.com/vb/scripts/ShowCode.asp?txtCodeId=3D434= 18&lngWId=3D1 MAYBE WE CAN USE IT AS A DEVELOPMENT TOOL! (BELOW IS THE OFFICIAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION FROM SITE!) Title: _**UltraPad - almost realtime multi user notepad! Description: This is specifically intended for programmers. With this you can edit a file simultaneously with your friends over a = network or Internet. Programmers can easily build modules with this programs, all working on = ONE file, and being able to see realtime what other users types. There is an integrated chat to communicate. Also there is a simple word highlighter, working for C++ syntax, that = may be easily changed for VB structures. There are two separate apps (server and client) to make it extremely = tidied up. Hope you like, try it!! send feedback and report bugs! because i feel there are some.... :) and = suggest on how I can improve this, for now it may be basic for = someone... :) This file came from Planet-Source-Code.com...the home millions of lines = of source code You can view comments on this code/and or vote on it at: = http://www.Planet-Source-Code.com/vb/scripts/ShowCode.asp?txtCodeId=3D434= 18&lngWId=3D1 The author may have retained certain copyrights to this code...please = observe their request and the law by reviewing all copyright conditions = at the above URL. |

Sorry to flood the listserve, but how many people have access to a = microsoft compatible c/c++ compiler. Shit dude, why the xxxx did I put up request on the SF page for someone = to write such a document last week?! (after e-mailing about it) Matthew came with a good point; I think we should restart the project, = by first of all writing down WHAT we want; then combine it, make a = project plan out of it, then start planning how we're going to do it in = what steps, using what conventions etc. And when we finally get started actually developing, first setup a base = and stop screwing around with code optimisations and stuff which don't = matter at first; you'll need a base to start with first or others won't = be able to work on their part of the project etc.; optimisations, = beautifying and speeding up can be done when we have a functional base. ----- Original Message -----=20 From: Louis Varca=20 To: cb...@li...=20 Sent: Wednesday, February 25, 2004 1:44 AM Subject: [Cbm-cvs] Okay....
