We want to change the names of the Roofing Types in the Construction Data to word that are more descriptive of the function this selection serves (Roofing with and without airspace). We also want to adjust the associated Roofing at the same time. For example tile asphalt shingles are correct (tile with and without airspace and asphalt only without). Metal tile needs to be updated to appear in both Roofing categories.
Moving to 2016.Next as not part of 2016.3.1
Either add "wood shake" roofing or remove it from the screen text for Roof Type: "Steep Slope Roof tile, metal tile, or wood shakes" [do not know what year it was removed but it is still a useful roof type if only for additions].
While you're at it, many users would like more options. Steep slope implies I can choose "wood shakes" but I can't. We should ask others (Martyn Dodd, Payam) what other words people want to see, e.g., standing seam.
Limiting this to initial subject of this ticket (meaning ignore the things I added), this file has both roof types in one file, appropriately named so you can find them, Name the steep slope version of "10 PSF (RoofTile)" as "10 PSF (RoofTileAirGap)." Name "all others" version of "10 PSF (RoofTile)" as "10 PSF (RoofTileNoGap)".
I will put all the other requests in a new ticket.
ruleset mods checked into SVN @ r1901 w/ changes consistent w/ 7/27/20 comment above to differentiate Cons:RoofingLayer '10 PSF (RoofTile)' selections for steep slope vs. other RoofingTypes:
