This user is complaining because he accidentally didn't correct his return duct (default is supply) and nothing warned him of his error. Where is it getting the return duct information? CF1Rs are very different.
Current CBECC-Res has a reporting error related to verified duct design. The correct duct surface areas are used in the simulation so the compliance results are correct, but as far as we can tell, we have never reported the proper duct design area in the CF1R fields. This (CF1R
population) rule was initially implemented in rev 1360 (4/26/19) and then modified in rev 1477
(8/8/19) - and in projects run for both of those commits the a08Supply/Return_DuctSurfaceArea have been reporting default and not specified duct design areas. However, since the detailed duct design table is what is verified, I don't believe this will have affected compliance.
