#1201 Changes to Verified Duct Design Table (Section_Ii)

CEC staff would like to see the following reporting changes for Buried Ducts so the Containment System displays as shown in the example attached. This will require both schema and ruleset changes.

These changes might include either:
1 - an addition to the BuriedDuctInsulationDevice simpleType in the ResHvac schema or
** 2 ** - adding a 'NotApplicableMessage' to the CF1RPRF01E schema.
There will need to be modifications to the ruleset in order to report the values described.

1. If the value in column 10 Duct Burial Level = Not Buried or Partially Buried then report “n/a” in column 11 Containment System.

2. a. Would require an additional enumeration value in the BuriedDuctInsulationDevice simpleType in the ResHVac schema or addition of a NotApplicableMessage for iI11.

3. b. Mod to CBECC rules to add new enum value to be returned in the xml for these conditions depending on the schema changes.

An input file is attached that demonstrates the combinations that should be reported.

NOTE: The XSLT rendering code is set to respond to both of the solutions described above so that it can be tested. Without the changes made (as proposed), PartiallyBuried will show as 'None' and NotBuried will be blank.
