#45 jpg file corruption

Hello. I purchased the PHOTO ALBUM & SLIDESHOW SOFTWARE
PHOTOS ADOBE NR on eBay and installed it. It has
corrupted all my jpg files in that they will no longer
show up as a thumbnail with a single click on the
picture icon. They will come up by double-clicking and
it has not affected any gif or tiff files, nor if I
re-name jpg to jpeg.
The program did not do what I wanted, and I deleted it.
The jpg files are still corrupted.
What did the program do to them, and how can I restore
the jpg files again?
Also, the "print" option in "properties" is gone,
replaced by something about winzip which I don't want.
Please help me get my pictures back the way they were.
