#6 jndi lookup of data source

the jndi look-up of the DataSource for the connection
pool produces a strange exception. not sure what the
problem is at this time. it does not seem to affect the
overall functionality. future calls for retrieving a
connection do not seem to fail. this look-up occurs
within the database triggers.
