Forums

The Developers SF forum has been removed and all topics on it have been moved to the discussion page for the Project Developers Guide page on the wiki. The link to the forums on the main page has been updated to reflect this change.

Developers, once you create wiki accounts, be sure to start using a signature (three tildes or ~~~ in wiki notation) to sign your posts on this page. I've left your names unlinked for now, so be sure to go back and replace the names with this notation after you register.

Wiki

The sessions issue on the wiki has been resolved and users may now create accounts and maintain a user session between page loads. Also, the Project Developers Guide has been moved to the wiki for reasons related to formatting flexibility and information consolidation. The link to the Guide on the home page has been updated to reflect this move. It is encouraged that forum discussions should also be moved to the wiki for the same reasons.

Timeline

Over the next two weeks, I'll be working on a roadmap for the project. Roughly, design/planning will take place the first two weeks in June and the remainder of the time through the end of July will be spent on implementation and testing. If you haven't already, look over the Project Developer Guide to refamiliarize yourself with the project. A project wiki will be made available soon to allow developers to share information and collaborate on joint efforts, so keep your eyes on the project news for updates. See you in June.

Project Developer Guide

A first draft of the Project Developer Guide, a document to bring newly recruited developers up to speed, has been posted to the Docs section. New and prospective project developers are encouraged to review it, ask questions, make suggestions, etc. in this News forum.

Project Update

I'm in the process of recruiting and adding developers to the project, which is currently in the design/planning stage. I'd like the team to get started on implementation around mid-May or so. In the meantime, we'll be discussing ideas and formulating an implementation plan. If you're interested, you can join the discussion in #cardshark on irc.freenode.net.
