Converting to additional XML files (such as mapregions or chartregions), as opposed to dependance on Carbones_Config requires additional investigation.
The majority of current changes can be found within Maskpane to more closely mimic TreePane. The use of the word 'Treepane' is confusing within current Carbones implementation, suggesting different things within different contexts.

Quite possibly it is the issues with Treenode_61 or Treenode_58 (nodes used during inital map setup). Carbones firebug errors suggest these are not ebing read - which means the map does not know where to point upon setup. Other than this error it is assumed that the new XML file IS being read and displayed successfully (hard to see under the translucent grey loading overlay).

This change will have to take place at some point or another, Dojo providing a warning saying that existing store/query functionality has been depreceated.
