Digital Camera Remote Capture / News: Recent posts

I have just noticed that in the Capture SF project we have enabled many forums and buck-tracking mechanisms, which are not being checked at all. Apologies for all those unanswered mails!. The prefered way is to contact the developers using the mailing lists.

`capture` is a remote capture software for the Canon PowerShot series digital cameras. It is a command line utility that can be embedded into scripts to do periodic captures, or stop-motion animation. This version provides minor feature enhancements as well as bug fixes.

We encourage anyone willing to contribute to join the mailing list and let the fun begin :)

New mailing lists have been created (even though the Summary page says not) for capture-related discussions. Feel free to register. Currently, these lists have low traffic, so don't worry about your mailbox.

`capture` is (currently) a software remote capture for Canon PowerShot cameras. Release 1.0.2 is mainly a re-release of the work by Petr Danecek on this newly created SourceForge.net project. A new release is coming shortly. Want to help ? Join in !

We just set up this new SourceForge.net project to have more exposure in the community. We encourage people to have a look at the current codebase and to improve it, since there is still work to do ! (as is if were to end some day :-)
