AFAIR we discussed something like that once, so such or a
similar feature will be implemented at some time in the future.

When I output to ABC, noteedit would always somehow
choose how many measures to put on each line. If I
wanted to have the final printed copy break lines at a
different location (which I did 80% of the time), I
have to manually re-arrange the ABC file. Note: I
often want to break at a location in the middle of a
measure.

It would be *great* if I could drop some sort of marker
across all staves. When a file was exported then
Canorus could look to see if any of these markers are
present. If so, it could break lines at those locations.
