Hello Jake. Object editor contains a kind of 402 template to help in producing 402 compatible slave. Nevertheless, this is not a full 402 implementation, and do not include 402 state machine, and other motion control specific aspects. You will have to implement this in your application. If your request is about making a CANopen master able to control a pre-existing 402 node, then there is nothing special required, your master application will have to configure 402 node so that it behave the way you expect through SDO, and use or not synchronisation messages, and PDO. All this depend on your particular use case, and will require you to read and understand 402 specifications.
