This project is a sync of code from a commercial version based on the orginal diy-efis project also held on sourceforge.

Kotuku Aerospace Limited now owns the copyright on all of the code and the diy-efis project is released under that same licence (Apache 2.0).

Kotuku manufactures a range of CANaerospace based avionics modules and the diy-efis works using these instruments. Since CANaerospace is an open standard anyone can develop units to publish data using the same protocol. The diy-efis includes a converter for a Garmin GPS to CANaerospace that can serve as a basis for the same conversions.
