Hopefully candleeggs will eliminate the need for me to worry about any of these things, but for now, I need some ancillary programs, some of which I will write in python and some of which are available from the net in which case I will try to be a good boy and include a link, and some of which I will write. When I get coordinated, I'll make a tarball for easy download, but for now, I'll just leave them here for anyone to look at or use as they see fit.
