      Hi,

      make sure:
      1. The .net framework is installed on your computer (version 1.0 sp2, never tested with the 1.1 beta)
      2. Make sure you install winpcap from winpcap.polito.it and REBOOT your computer
      3. Make sure you run CamelotSharp.ControlCenter.exe BEFORE you run CamelotSharp.Vision.exe.

I'll add some handling for these errors in the next version.

      Thanks for downloading!

Glad I could help, i'll try to implement some checks when running serviced applications such as vision.

      Cheers,

do you have more information about the error you get? maybe copy n past the error message? Is the control center running in the taskbar and did you configure it?

does the problem happens as soon as you open vision?

    • CamelotSharp Editor

one last thing, what version of winpcap did you install? I never tested with version 3, so i really don't know if it works or not

by the way, you can download .net version 1 sp2 from :
      http://download.microsoft.com/download/.netframesdk/Redist/1.0/W98NT42KMeXP/EN-US/dotnetredist.exe

      or from windows update.

the error was from the same kind like the first one, an control center did run in the taskbar in i also configured it, and yes it happens as soon as i open vision. i seem to load a bit an then it pops up
in detail it is "process id=0x7b8(1976), thread id=0x47c(1148)

now i just finished downloading .net 1 and i ll try it again
      bye

Been trying to reproduce the problem on other computers, but to no avail. What's your OS? I'll try to do a fresh install on vmware and try with the same config. In the meantime, i'll add some debugging code and upload a new binary release in a few hours...

my os is win2k and i have sp2 installed

    • CamelotSharp Editor

Ok, i'll do a fresh install and see why that happens. But I really don't understand why this is happening.

Do other people have the same problem? 'cause from a win2K without sp2, i can run everything without a bug...

well, then you just have to click on start monitoring before launching daoc, and it should show you the map and your surroundings...
