So, with Lion's release increasingly imminent, my question is whether or not there's a date for a Lion-capable release in sight.
If not, I'll probably do what I did last time and hand-roll a Lion-capable CB bundle in order to ensure things still work on Lion, adding it into things and making a custom branch, just to keep things going for now. I hate doing that, though, because it's a) a huge headache, and b) sometimes breaks on certain machines.
If there /is/, however, I'll probably finally kick my project to 1.0 (after five years...) and kill off Panther and Tiger support, or else modify the project to have two loadable bundles, one using the legacy CB (for Panther or Tiger), and one using the newer CB (for Leopard or later).

Not a graven-in-stone date, but I'd say weeks, not months. I've
finally found a good job (yay!), and I'm officially paid up on the Mac
App Store. So, I have access to Lion betas, and in a few weeks I'll be
able to obtain an Apple-made Mac with which to run them honestly.
The $64k question is, of course, when Lion itself will ship. AFAIK,
Apple hasn't said.
