A new update for entire suite!

This release isn't complete, but is enough for a new path. Still focused on KDE 4.x series,
but improves many things for Plasma 5 series.

The updated pieces are:

• Caledonia Plasma theme (almost 50 changes)
• Caledonia KDM (new)
• Caledonia KSplash-QML (new)
• Caledonia colors (update)
• Caledonia Wallpaper Collection (new and own collection)

Monochrome KDE logo por appmenu (Kickoff or what you want) was dropped for "Other" folder and now is located in "Legacy".

Exist various reasons:

1- Because now Caledonia want to be more independent in the look and feel. Now will invest in their own branding, their own feeling in the desktop. Symbols are more neutral as possible.

2- New neutral/Caledonia appmenu logo represents about 90% of downloads (last month neutral logo had about 60 downloads compared with only 8 for KDE logo). Clearly the users want this feeling.... read more

After almost 6 months, a new version for Caledonia plasma theme is here.
With 50 changes and almost 300 compatible monochrome icons, this new release is prepared for new Plasma 5 (the new KDE desktop technology).

Plasma 5 is under development, because the early version isn't really prepared for end users (if you want customize the environment). But here is: Caledonia is ready for the new path.
Bugs and other bad visuals may appear. So, if you use recent Plasma 5, take Caledonia 1.9 as a 2.0 beta release.... read more

New and recommended version for Caledonia plasma theme.

The last changes in some pieces (specially in Plasma-nm version 0.9.3.3) has forced new changes. For this, all Plasma-nm users should be update the theme.

But isn't the only change. Here is the complete changelog for this version 1.6.2.

-Added Euskera, Chinese and Esperanto languages to metadata description
-Little revision in Amarok icon file
-Added an icon for Cantata (generic music icon)
-Icon compatibility with new Plasma-nm (version 0.9.3.3)

No planned version, but neccessary to fix some "bugs" and new addons.

-Updated to the new standard icon in KDE Connect
-Added Brazilian Portugese to metadata description
-Fixed some bugs with some icons in Plasma-nm (versions 4.2.x)

This update is recommended for Plasma-nm and/or KDE Connect users.

KDE 4.x series is almost in the end. With the 4.12.x version, this desktop is very stable and no more changes will be incorporated. But those months some pieces were incorporated: Plasma Network Management QML (aka Plasma-nm) and KDE Connect.

After a long time, since February, Caledonia Plasma-KDE Theme seems static... But not! :)

Today is the release of version 1.5. This release contains 3 changes: renewed and revised
plasma theme, the new wallpaper collection pack and a renewed webpage with a "tour" section.

Caledonia KDM and Caledonia KSlash are updated after almost one year! Now this pieces are in the version 1.3.

Caledonia KDM now comes with a better image quality in the background, the renewed branding, a new password box and a colors revision.

Caledonia KSplash is made now QML! Returns to the classic design with engines, the oldschool and mechanical look. And yes: the engines have movement! :)
