Previously I had discussed creating a Perl/Tk output display filter for cajun to utilize a VGA output device. Attached is a very *rough* cut of that functionality hacked into the CajunX.pm from Cajun 3.0-8. I must again stress that this is a work in progress, needs a lot more work, and may break things. I am putting it out solely to solicit the your collective thoughts and suggestions. So hack away and let me know what you think. Directions: Install Perl/Tk from: ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/redhat-7.1-en/DMA/CPAN/RPMS/perl-Tk-800.022-11.i386.rpm (Substitute url for your version of Linux or obtain from CPAN) Setup cajun 3.0-8 for Xtem output. Overwrite /usr/share/cajun/bin/CajunX.pm with the one from this email. Start your X server locally or configure for remote X display Start cajun. A black window should popup and display the cajun start screen. Happy Hacking. --Mike -- Michael R.
