Is there any plans to provide a jiplet registrar that
will maintain the communication channel open by
sending keep-alive packets to the SIP device to
address NAT issues?

We are planning to incorporate some NAT/firewall traversal
features into the jiplet container. The exact scope is not
clear yet. We will try to come up with more information on
this ASAP.
