Hi,
I'm trying to create the ~8GB iso fora USB boot version of CEALinux 2020 from the three 7zip files. I'm using a Windows 10 pc and 7zip (version 19.00) - both 64 bit.
I keep getting the "...some data after the end of the payload data" error for the second archive and so am unable to proceed further.
Also tried using PEAZip, it reports the same issue.

    Hi, John.
I've had this very problem with the second and third CAELinux 2020 7zip files. Have you had any luck resolving this yet?

Hi. normally, using 7zip in Windows, you just have to download all three parts of the archive to a given folder, then right click the first part and choose Extract to...

if this does not work, you can try selecting all three parts and choose Extract.

let me know if it still does not work.

      Hi, J. Cugnoni.

Thank you for the quick reply. I am unfamiliar with the process and I may have just misunderstood the instructions. I think that I might be ready to use the Ventoy utility to create a liveUSB disk, but I am not sure. This is my first time trying to do something like this so I really appreciate the help.

7zip has given me the following error message when trying to extract from the .002 file:

-Can not open the file as [7z] archive

And the following error messages when trying to extract from the .003 file:

-There are some data after the end of the payload data
      -Library symbols information error
-Can not open the file as [7z] archive
-The file is open as [Ar] archive.

I was however, able to verify the MD5sums after downloading:

      -CAELinux2020.iso.7z.001: 1078fc8ef51d6253054321bf4e1619aa
      -CAELinux2020.iso.7z.002: ffaf9d52f727c4fb62e32bf7c60aa936
      -CAELinux2020.iso.7z.003: f4e2d87d258b509c6803efc51d60fd9d

And the disc image file extracted from .001 and it's MD5sum appears correct:

      fdb560d86be3f6ab005f3a0402f67288

I read your post that the size of the image should be 6.2Gb. This has me wondering if there might be a problem with what I extracted or if I am misunderstanding something. As you can see from the attached png file the size of what I extracted is ~6.0Gb.

Does everything appear to be correct to you?

      Thanks!
