I was thinking when writing the paper about the change you made to Jt to =
explode the instances into parts and assemblies.  Right now you =
accomplish this by setting an option up front.  Do you think another way =
to approach this is that if the target does not support the =
IInstanceNotify option, Jt would automatically adjust to explode out the =
assemblies and parts?  That might be a cleaner way to do it, although I =
haven't really looked into if you can do this on the fly or if you have =
to do it when you first instantiate the source.  Just thinking out =
loud...
