although the import of gpx files from geocaching.com is highly automated, it is still required to set up a pocket query. this is state of the art from the 90ies. modern geocaching applications need direct access to an online database, but geocaching.com limits api access very restrictively. the only alternative seems to be opencaching which features:

- online database queries
- online logging
- cache ratings
