The SystemImager in Sourceforge is the wrong one and its original Author (Brian Finley) has migrated it to github in 2014. I started working on SystemImager in 2012 as part of OSCAR Cluster project and soon saw the limit for building our own kernel. Then I started a major rewrite (and when I say major rewrite, it's MAJOR) The new systemimager exists since 2014 or so and was supporting xfs as it uses dracut to generate the imager (initrd) from system files instead of building everything from scratch...

OK, I will modify the readme. Of course when C7knl was built the current SystemImager did not work with CentOS 7. As I recall the biggest problem was that one could not chroot into the C7 root file system. Subsequently getting XFS to work in C7knl was tricky because there was a run of kernels with issues for that file system.

C7knl should not be used with SystemImager development releases.
