While running c3p0 based application on Tomcat, on shutdown, the c3p0 connection pool is not being closed properly and the connection is left created in the database.
The database in use is a DB2 instance running on AS/400 machine with the JDBC driver as JT400 .
Attached is the pool Bean definition (using spring with hibernate)
