I just downloaded 45a and tried it, and it works ok with one
exception. When I try to switch from pictures to music, or vice
versa, the connection is lost. The server is listed on the tivo, but
when i select it the tivo says the server is unavailable.

I'm running your 45.a version on Suse 9.0.

Keep up the good work gents, its awesome to be able to show my
friends Tivo talking to my Linux PC!

Thanks,

Rick

This is actually a result (I believe) of a bug I am trying to
    squash....

Seems that the broadcast (to all) and http server portions of
byRequest are fairly solid, but the 'respond to a specific
broadcast to me' code is not.

I am looking into it, and hopefully will find a cure in a few
    days.

I have a similar problem with byRequest 0.60, usually when
we exit a stream (especially when using the TiVo button to
go to the TiVo home page). When we go back, the server's
IP is listed, but we can't connect to the server without
rebooting the TiVo first. Sucks to have to reboot it
    constantly. :(
