[bwm-tools-tech] About packaging and the vitality of the project

Hi,

I've been using bwm-tools (just for bandwidth) for over two years, on a
very very low end system.  VoIP and wireless are being routed by it and
it simply works, and it works great!  I love it.

I'd like to package it for Debian, but I wonder if the project is alive.
There aren't many releases (maybe there's no need to) and it's a suprise 
for me that not many people know about it.

So, what do you think, should I go ahead and package it?  If people 
start reporting bugs or trying to send patches, will there be somebody
on your side able to deal with that?
