I have two big things I want to do. I want to provide complete authoring capability for DVDs. Also, I want to create a true "backup" program using DVD or Blue-Ray media. Which of these capabilities sound most attractive for the next big push?
I personally would prefer the backup solution, that's what I am using DVD[-RAM] mostly for. A backup solution should be able to prevent filesystem links to follow, but to save alternate datastreams in the backup - in some form, which allow restore.
Just my thinking,
I'd like to see some backup development. Along those line, I was wondering if the file system standards had any type of compression. It's nice to plug in a DVD and just have the file system there.
