When you have multiple files that you are editing in the gui and right click/ select "fill all open files with this field value", the change is not being displayed until you click into each and every one.
Looking through the source, the change is set once you select "Fill all", but is not displayed until another action occurs (clicking the field, saving fields, etc). We'll mark this as being necessary for the next release - it should update the view after 'fill all' completes.
