#1 BASIC to C translator

Hi, I've been using bwbasic on Debian for some time now
(love it) and have writen several programs using it.
Problems arise when I try to compile these
programs...no support from BASIC compilers (such as
FreeBASIC) so I I can only use my programs as scripts
on machines loaded with bwbasic.

I heard that bwbasic translates into then runs BASIC
scripts into C...would it be possible to capture my
programs into C? <log the translation into a file, etc>

C is a lot easier to compile and wootnot. If you gt

Just in case someone happens to find this old post: BaCon could be an alternative. But it's not an interpreter, and expressions are passed to C "as is", so the feeling is quite different from ordinary BASIC.
