#27 Configure if Butt sends song metadata upon new connection

Since we add metadata in our backend our problem is that Butt always sends a song name metadata upon new connections (not always, only after the OK button was pushed once). Would it be possible to make it configurable whether Butt sends metadata automatically?

    Hi gammaw, the next version will not do that anymore after you cleared the song name field.

    Hi Daniel, thanks! Is there a difference between connecting (hitting play) and reconnecting (after disconnect due to network issues)? Since there is an OK button for Update song name manually, would it be possible that you only send the update when the button is pushed (or have a config for such an option)? Our problem is that our users may forget to close Butt and/or delete the song name field and then the next user will use an outdated song name when connecting.
