#2 highlight empty spaces

A feature that might be really useful would be an
option to highlight empty spaces within a solution, so
you can understand what's going on inside a puzzle.
It would be also be helpful to see which pieces could
be enlarged without altering the solutions.

How? Normally all pieces are not transparent, so you can
not see empty spaces inside the solution but only those at
the outer edges.

And drawing shapes transparent is still an unsolved
problem.

Maybe it would be possible to have the empty voxels in the
solution drawn and they are visible, when pieces are drawn
in gridmode or not at all...
