User Reviews

  • Worked great for my simple needs - burning a slideshow mpg file to a playable DVD. DVD plays fine on a DVD player.
  • NOT for subtitles, apparently, except following the procedure of first creating a UDF/ISO disk image. Burn this under the "copy" tab, not the "DVD video" tab, to preserve subtitles. Other approaches, such as starting with a VIDEO_TS folder, will strip away subtitles. Since a lot of disks I burn have subtitles, some created by me, some created by others, this program does not seem to offer any advantages. If I already have a UDF/ISO disk image, I can burn it from the Finder, via contextual menu (and several other ways). You may want to do things this program will help you do, but if subtitles are involved, be wary.
  • Easy download to my iMac. It worked with my Big Sur OS. Choosing Video & selecting NTSC as a recording mode, Burn converted my 7 gig MP4 to a 1.43 gig mpg copy that "burned" rapidly. Produced was a quality video that played well on a DVD player. My first impression is that this is an excellent, stable application. Thanks for it, Sourceforge.
  • does not work. burn converted my mp4 to mpg, burned 2 dvd+r discs (PAL and NTSC), both played on my mac (10.11.6) just fine but won't work in any dvd player. says cannot play. i guess this is an example of you get what you pay for.

  • Very good and I'm thankfull about this project. ;) I'd like to ask about possibility to change the DVD/CD icon as I can do with Burn utility on macOS (just need drag it). It would perfect for me this procedure. Thank you and congratulations. ;)
