I'm very interested in "rolling your own" DVD-Audio discs as is possible with Burn. Just from looking at the screenshots (which is all I can do), the interface seems to fit very well the Mac philosophy of something that "Just Works (tm)." :) Sadly, there is no version for Windows or even Linux/Cygwin despite the note on Burn's home page stating that --

"Burn is absolutely free and open source. Burn also uses a lot of great free open source utilities to make it tick. Utilities: ffmpeg, lame, liba52, movtoy4m, movtowav, vcdimager, dvdauthor, spumux, mkisofs and dvd-author."

AFAIK, the only thing "Mac specific" is the GUI. Have tried the "DVD Audio Tools" program in the past, but the guide on its home page is difficult to understand due to poor English translation and technical confusion. I myself am by no means a programmer in any way but would love to see Burn "ported" adequately from Mac-only to Windows (as was done with hugely popular writing app Scrivener) and/or Linux, or even system-independent, i.e. as a Java executable (as has been done with Azureus, jDownloader, and various interfaces for the MP4 "tagging" app Atomic Parsley).

All of the other Windows-compatible DVD-Audio apps are tremendously expensive "pro" multimedia suites. dvd-author itself is a Unix shell program, and of course the whole reason for having a GUI is so people who aren't comfortable with the command line can also have something that "Just Works (tm)." I'm not looking to be the next Clive Davis or Quincy Jones, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who Just Knows (tm) that a 4-8 gig "mix tape" would be a dream for even the most amateur of audiophiles. Please, if the original programmer and/or another collaborator eavesdropping on this SF page wouldn't mind, there are some Seattle slackers stuck in the anti-nirvana of Redmond ;-) who'd gladly provide some Cocoa or Java from Starbucks for a Windows or cross-platform home brew that, again... "Just Works (tm)." :D
