I am wondering what version of UDF is used in Burn's "DVD (UDF)" setting? There doesn't seem to be any indication in Preferences, but I'm aware there are five different versions of UDF (as of late 2012), and that selecting the right version is important depending on what OS you are using.

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Disk_Format#Compatibility

For example, I might like to use UDF 2.5, since most guides say the Playstation (PS3) likes UDF 2.5. Some say the PS3 cannot read UDF 1.02.

Burn's help file states "DVD (UDF): This filesystem is most common for DVDs. It can be read by most modern computers (this includes Mac OS 9 systems and Windows 98 systems). It can also be used on CDs. (this item is not available on Panther)".

One could deduce from that Help file that Burn must be using UDF 1.02, since only UDF 1.02 was compatible with Windows 98. On the other hand, it seems more likely that the Help file just hasn't been updated in a few years (note the reference to Panther).

Anyone know what version of UDF is used by Burn?
