How to report

Reports can concern either bugs reported by the community, or features of interest requested. To report these two things, here's the procedure:

1 - check that there is no similar issue open in the open tickets. If the ticket is already open, feel free to complete the information if needed!

2 - open a ticket under the "reports" milestone

3 - in case of a bug, make sure you can reproduce it on a vanilla version of everything with BuildCraft using default version of the property files. Then:

• check that it can be reproduced in SSP
• if not, check that it can be reproduced in SMP
• save a world showing a problem, and describe precisely what to do to get the problem
• place the world in mediafire and reference the link to the ticket
• provide in the ticket the OS that you used, the BuildCraft version that showed the problem, the client and server log as well as the trace if the problem is an exception.

I have very little bandwith to address bugs related to mod interaction. In particular, please don't report anything that's related to an incompatibility between a Forge and a non-Forge mod.

If you're reporting an enhancement, just check that it's not already reported before adding it.

4 - for bug enhancements, add the "bug" label. For enhancements, add the "enhancements" label.

Tickets will progressively be picked up from the "reports" milestones to appropriate milestones.

Don't worry if I don't answer straight out to ticket - nothing will get dismissed without an explanation. I'm just taking things one by one, and try to alternate fixes with new developments.
