Hi, When I list the torrents in the shell, I get an output like this : 94.5% 93.84/99.34 --:--:-- 0.0 0.0 0(0) 5(3) running 34.7% As I understand it, these are : Progress, downloaded/complete, eta, dl rate, ul rate, seeds, peers, status, ??. I can't figure out the last one (34.7 %) and I don't know what 5(3) means? There are 5 peers, we are connected to 3 of them for example? (wild guess) Doruk -- FISEK INSTITUTE - http://www.fisek.org |

Hi, The last field is shared ratio (uploaded/downloaded). You should let it seed until its shared ratio reach 100% or more to keep the file still torrent. x(y) of seeds and leechs indicate number of connected peers and number of available peers, respectively. However, some trackers do not allow clients to ask for y via scrape due to heavy load. You might see it to be '?'. Last night, I improved table formatting to let you assign your favorite fields including justification left, right, and center. It is already in CVS. Sugree Phatanapherom su...@hp... What does it mean? I guess it is a list of files in each torrent. Umm. It might be too long. However, It has field 'name' to represent the first file in each torrent. You already see it next to id no. In next version, you will be able to adjust name length limit to cut it off. Sugree Phatanapherom su...@hp... No, no... What I meant was something like this : id torrent_name progress rcvd/all eta dl_rate ul_rate seeds peers status dl/ul_ratio 1 Julians Treatment - 94.5% 93.84/99.34 --:--:-- 0.0 0.0 0(0) 5(3) running 34.7% ... Now that I know what is what, I don't need it ;-) I thought other new users may benefit from it, if it doesn't mess up the output too much. Doruk |
