I did some research and found the JSR 75 which is for file system manipulation.
There is an open issue with the file system on btp2p so if anyone wants to participate in wrapping jsr 75 providing file system manipulation including a file browser and a mechanism for registering apps or btp2p modules on file types and then triggering the corresponding binary please feel free to contact. This issue is under research and it has not been clarified by me if mobile api has the ability to trigger (exec in c) external applications (by the permission of the user of course) and no module mechanism has been added to btp2p. The plans are to change the project to HuNt and all the libraries like btp2p (and in the immediate future vfs – virtual file system) will become modules of HuNt. Any disagreements or suggestions are welcomed on this matter that’s why I am posting these lines before doing anything.
